SERVICE AND YIZKOR
Shavuot services, including Yizkor, will be held at Beit Kohelet on Monday morning, June 13th at 8:30 a.m. Assuming that we have a minyan and can perform a complete service, Yizkor should commence at around 10:00 a.m. and services should end no later than 11:00 a.m.
It is important to hear back from attendees with an R.S.V.P. so that we can determine that we will have sufficient attendance for a minyan. Please R.S.V.P to support@qcpdenver.com.

BULLETIN: A new section in the Weekly News
We are introducing a new regular section for the Kohelet Weekly News called BULLETIN. This will reinforce our already great sense of community and help us interact in a quick and functional way. You can submit your entries directly to admin@kohelet.org. Please keep your post to 3 sentences or less and list your preferred way of contact.
Appropriate posts will be:
- requests for assistance (eg., I am having knee surgery on July 6 and would appreciate a few meals later that week and then transportation 3x to dr. appts.)
- requests to borrow items (eg., I am looking to borrow a high chair for 2 weeks in June)
- offers (eg., I have 2 dining room chairs to give away. Yours for picking up.)
- recommendations (eg., We’re looking for recommendations for a babysitter that you have trusted and employed)
- collaborations (eg., I see that the children’s room at Koh. house could use some uplifting. Want to join me one day in Sept. to paint and organize?)

WHAT TO DO THIS SUMMER
In 2016 we changed our set up-clean up sign up policy so that each member signs up for two days between February and May, one day between June and August, and two days between September and January. It is now time for summer sign up.
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ONE DAY BY CLICKING BELOW.
Please also branch out and consider a d’var Torah. A brief summary and a few questions for the congregation to get us going would be completely sufficient.

A TOUR OF PROVERBS/MISHLEI WITH NEIEL

Proverbs 20
It is honorable to desist from strife,
But every fool becomes embroiled.
In winter the lazy man does not plow;
At harvestmen he seeks and finds nothing.
The king sitting on the throne of judgment
Can winnow out all evil by his glance.
Do not love sleep lest you be impoverished;
With eyes open you will have plenty.
Bread gained by fraud will be tasty;
But later the mouth is filled with gravel.
The glory of youth is their strength;
The majesty of old men is their grey hair.
The designs of men’s mind are deep waters,
But those of understanding can draw them out.
