Congratulations to us! Our Dean of Education, Lisa McCarthy, along with parent, Billie Gentry, accepted our 1st place award for the City of Long Beach Cool California Challenge at the Sustainable City Commission meeting yesterday. We not only earned 1st place in Long Beach, we were the FIRST place team in the STATE of California! We helped Long Beach win $25,000 for our city, and we took home $3,000 for our prize!
Please see our beautiful certificate in the hallway - signed by Mayor Robert Garcia.
Be proud!
