Dear Community,

Spring has sprung! Our children are in great spirits, our gardens are growing, caterpillars abound, the Gala planning committee is hard at work, and it is enrollment season! We are receiving a lot of phone calls from interested families for early childhood through the grades, and I held the largest Walk Through the Classes ever with 29 people. It is exciting to know that the word is out about our school, as families are coming from not only Long Beach, but also surrounding cities such as La Habra, Santa Ana, Cypress and the South Bay. Thank you for helping us spread the word, as that is always our strongest recruitment tool.

In addition, more and more scientific studies are being done to support our method of teaching -- from the connection of physical movement and learning, to writing and retention of information, to the importance of how the art of teaching is more important than memorizing content.

As we continue to share the strength of our school with others, please remember to buy tickets to our Spring Gala on May 13, and invite others to join! It is a great way for us to relax and enjoy each other, while supporting our school and bringing others into the fold.
