KOHELET COMMUNITY SEDER

Save the date: First night April 22
Barbara Beiser is coordinating this event. We hope many Kohelet members will attend and bring their friends.
We will need more hands to help coordinate the project. If you have not volunteered for a Kohelet committee, this would be a good time to step-up.
We need your help. Kohelet only works with your engagement.
Contact Barbara beiserbj@gmail.com.

ANNUAL PESACH CLEANUP

Save the Date: Sunday morning April 17.
Details to follow.

A TOUR OF PROVERBS/MISHLEI WITH NEIEL

Proverbs 10

The words of Solomon

God will not let the righteous go hungry,
But he denies the wicked what they crave.
Negligent hands cause poverty, but diligent hands enrich.
Lay in stores during summer and be capable
Sleep during harvest and be incompetent.
Much talking causes much transgressing,
But he who curbs his tongue show sense.

JFS WEINBERG FOOD PANTRY SPRING FOOD DRIVE

Please help stop hunger in our community. The Jewish Family Service's Weinberg Food Pantry will begin their Passover/Easter food drive soon. Donations drop significantly in the springtime, straining the pantry's ability to feed the hungry at this time of year. All pantry clients have very low incomes, and food insecurity is a major concern in their lives.

As you begin cleaning for Passover and Spring, please remember JFS. All non-perishable food donations are welcome and encouraged. Please bring your donations to the JFS barrel that will be located at Kohelet in the hallway next to the sanctuary from March 23 to May 2. Last year, our small synagogue had one of the fullest bins of all churches and synagogues that participated. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Please contact Sharon Pincus with any questions at sharonrpincus@yahoo.com
